inner Circle

Hi everyone, Ed here,

I just wanted to share a little bit about who I am at a deeper level and why a circle ‘‘Working With Energies’’ has been on the cards for years.

You see, I’ve always understood connection, reciprocity and how the energy we attract is the energy we put out, whether that means manifesting for you or karma, or however you see it. Things don’t always need labels or categories.

My journey really started when I was seven years old. My dad had become interested in spiritualism, and took me to a spiritualist church, thereafter being involved in séances from a very young age. Looking back, that's where everything began. Over the following years, I spent a lot of time in development circles with him, exploring intuition, psychic abilities and, more than anything, learning that there's far more to life than what we can see. Talking to the dead essentially.

My dad later became very involved in spirit, having had messages from dead relatives to spirit guides from different era’s and attending many circles, with TV personality Colin Fry (RIP). Also, experiencing the fake, which we have all seen or noticed maybe. I think, importantly, understanding spirit, our intentions/interactions and knowing there is an energy we are connected to.

I've always had a really strong intuition. Sometimes I've ignored it, but more often than not, when I've trusted it, it's led me exactly where I needed to be, or given me the information I’ve needed. I have endless manifestation stories that continue to happen and am still in the flow.

Then, when I was around 28, I met someone who had a huge impact on my life—my dear friend Anthony Wade, or "Doc" as everyone knows him. He introduced me to meditation, consciousness, the power of my voice and the breath and how to work on self-belief. He taught me that real growth doesn't come from looking outside yourself—it comes from learning to sit with yourself. To slow down. To become still. That changed my life.

Later on, I decided that getting back in touch with my psychic side didn’t seem to happen, or connect or whatever, and I learned Hypnosis, well Cognitive Behavioural Hypnosis, as this seemed a progression on from personal training, but also reaching into my problem-solving and people skills.

Life hasn't always been straightforward. Like many people, I've had my own struggles, including periods where my mental health wasn't in a great place. Those experiences taught me even more. They taught me that there isn't one answer to healing. Meditation has helped me. Nutrition has helped me. Exercise has helped me. Sometimes there are other tools that can help people too—including, in the right setting, recently, psychedelics. But I've come to believe that all of these are just that... tools. They can give us a jump start, but they can't do the inner work for us. Eventually, we all have to come back to ourselves.

Jan 2nd 2025, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life and moved to Brighton. Logically it made sense, but it felt like all the signs were edging me to come this way - I just knew it was the right thing to do. I trusted my intuition, as I always have.

Not long after moving here, I met Nathan. He gave me a reading that connected, and after that I had a strong feeling to ask him if he would be up for exploring more around his ability and for other like-minded people that I have met, having had similar experiences or just vibing from their energy.

It’s been 8 months since I mentioned this to Nathan, but very recently I’ve been experiencing altered states in meditation, and I feel my gut is telling me now is the time.

This group isn't about convincing anyone to believe in anything. It isn't about religion or dogma. It's about creating a space where people can come exactly as they are. A place where we can explore, learn, question, connect, heal, develop and grow together.

It’s very rare that a circle like this exists, or will be created by someone like myself. But here we are, and it feels right.
